The Fort Miles Historical Association is bringing the USS Missouri’s 67-foot gun to the proposed Fort Miles Military Museum in Cape Henlopen State Park. This is a 250-ton cannon that is travelling from Norfolk, Virginia, to Lewes, Delaware, passing through Georgetown on April 16th. The official unveiling will take place on April 28th at 1 pm.
Despite THE extreme weather which included a Tornado, Hurricane and an Earthquake, Extreme Makeover Home Edition took place in Lewes, Delaware. The fortunate recipient could not be more deserving. Dale Dunning has been running Jusst Sooup, a volunteer soup kitchen for the past 12 years.
Everything good was packed into THE Week made possible by Extreme Home Makeover, Schell Brothers and hundreds of volunteers in Sussex County. Our Broker and Owner of Delaware Realty, Dick Bryan, donated many decorative items and antique accessories that will make this a home for Chris and Dale.
